Congratulations to our Boys Track & Field Team who placed 5th overall. Adonis Hughes leaped a huge PR at 23'1 in the long jump become the champion. He also obtained two PRs in the 100 and 200 meters. Senior Elijah Williams placed 4th in 800m (2:02.80) and sixth in the 1600 meter, running 4:50.78. Both were personal records for Williams. Junior Ke'Veon Hayes placed second in the discus, throwing 130'3" and third in the shot put, 42'3. In the 110H, Michael Price was runner-up, sprinting 15.71 and fourth in the 300H with a time of 43.36. The track team will compete next Thursday in Sectionals at Lawrence Central HS at 5pm.
