On behalf of Arsenal Technical High School and the entire Titan family, I extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Frank Kendrick, a true legend of our school and community. Frank’s extraordinary legacy began at Arsenal Technical High School, where he graduated with the Class of 1970 and shone as an Indiana All-Star. He continued to elevate the game of basketball at Purdue University, where his talent, dedication, and leadership left an indelible mark on the Boilermaker program. His remarkable collegiate achievements—scoring 1,269 points in three seasons, earning All-Big Ten honors, and being named an All-American—solidified his place among the greatest to ever wear the Purdue jersey. Frank’s illustrious basketball career reached the pinnacle of success with an NBA Championship as a rookie with the Golden State Warriors in 1975, followed by a decade of professional play in Europe. His impact on the court, however, was only part of his greatness. Frank embodied the values of perseverance, humility, and a commitment to excellence that inspired countless individuals both during and after his playing days. As a proud member of the Arsenal Tech family, Frank’s name will forever resonate in the halls of our school and in the hearts of those who knew him or looked up to him. He represented the very best of what it means to be a Titan, and his contributions to basketball and to life itself have left an enduring legacy that we will cherish always. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts during this difficult time. May the memories of Frank’s extraordinary life bring you comfort, and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations. With heartfelt sympathy, Ed Buford Director of Athletics Arsenal Technical High School
